There isn’t a How to Fish .exe sitting on dazed.games. There isn’t a Google Drive folder. TheHow to Fish game downloads through Steam, after you buy it or while it’s in your library. That’s the whole official path.

What “download” means here
Steam is the installer. You click the store button, pay (or redeem), let the client pull the build. File size isn’t something we can freeze in a blog post — it will change with patches. Look at theSteam store page for the live depot size and Windows requirements.
No mobile APK. No Switch cartridge. No Xbox store package. PC via Steam is what’s shipping. The studio has said consoles and Mac are planned. They have not said “download it from us.”
Free full-game mirrors
How to Fish is a paid Steam title. List was $7.99; it was $4.95 at 38% off when we checked. “Free download” results are going to be toolbars, stolen keys, or malware with a fishing-game thumbnail. Don’t.
Demos: if Steam ever adds one, it will be on that same app page. Until then, the refund window is the trial.
After it installs
First boot is the crash-on-an-island setup. Rods, boats, physics. If you came here because you already own it and wanted a walkthrough, skip this page and use thewalkthrough outline on the main guide. Download questions stop once the client says “Ready to play.”
Co-op is online, 1–4 players. You still download one copy per Steam account. Sharing a cracked build with friends is not how themultiplayer is meant to work, and it won’t get you Steam achievements.
Mac, Linux, family sharing
Mac: studio says yes, someday, no date. Linux: Steam may or may not Proton it — that’s Valve and the community, not a Dazed Games download portal. Family Sharing follows Steam’s usual rules; we’re not going to pretend those rules are simpler than they are.
Patch the game through Steam too. Third-party “update packs” for a live Steam title are how people lose accounts.
